MBS were engaged to design, manufacture, deliver, install and commission a 35.8 x 29.85m D.A.L.E. (Dynamic Alternative Learning Environment) School to Cessnock in NSW. MBS worked closely with the client and the architect to design the new school which included four classrooms, staff and student amenities, storeroom, reception, principals office, a staff room, withdrawal rooms and a large central hub. The large central hub, was over height transport restrictions, so modular roof sections had to be designed and installed on-site. The new school featured raked ceilings, concealed beams, commercial window sections, plasterboard internal linings, an operable wall, Vitrapanel cladding, louvre windows and a large external deck area.
